4. How We Share Your Information
4.1 Public Profile Data
Your FLAP player profile — including your name, username, position, stats, match history, and ratings received from peers — is visible to other FLAP users by default. This is core to what makes FLAP work: it's a social platform built around your football identity.
4.2 Service Providers
We share data with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the Service, including:
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers
- Payment processors (e.g., Stripe or equivalent)
- Analytics tools (e.g., Firebase Analytics)
- Crash reporting tools (e.g., Sentry or Firebase Crashlytics)
- Email delivery services
These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.
4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government authority, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, or ensure the safety of our users.
4.4 Business Transfers
If FLAP is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4.5 No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings. Upon deletion:
- Your public profile and player stats will be removed from the platform
- Some data may be retained for up to 90 days in backups before permanent deletion
- We may retain certain records if required by law (e.g., billing history)
6. Your Rights and Choices

If we become aware that a child under the applicable age has created an account, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us at diana@flap.blog.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure password hashing
- Access controls limiting who can access your data within our team
- Regular security reviews of our infrastructure
No system is 100% secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately at diana@flap.blog.
9. International Data Transfers
FLAP operates globally and your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including Ukraine, the European Union, and the United States. Where applicable, we apply appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses under GDPR) to ensure your data is protected in line with this policy.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the web version.
11. Third-Party Links and Services
FLAP may contain links to external websites or integrate with third-party services (e.g., social login providers, map tools). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before sharing any personal information with them.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
